As a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) and Self Care Service Nurse Call Handler, you will provide a high level of service to the Single Point of Contact team, which forms the basis of the 3P’s delivery (Promote, Prevent and Prepare for treatment to be a success).

Qualifications and/or Knowledge
* Registered Nurse first level
* Knowledge of Planned Care, waiting times and NHS targets.
* Well-developed clinical skills
* Degree in Nursing
* Surgical or orthopaedic relevant courses
Aptitude and abilities
* Effective interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to maintain high standards of care
* Ability to assess, plan and refer patient care appropriately
* Able to support patients' physical and psychological needs remotely
* Excellent telephone manner
* Knowledge/experience of computer systems.
* Ability to manage own workload.
Experience
* Well-developed clinical skills
* Previously worked within an acute setting
* Contact centre or Call handling experience
