The Job

We're seeking a talented SEN Teacher to join our team at Avonside School in Bristol. As a key member of our staff, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the learning and development of our pupils with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities

* To teach a range of subjects as necessary to ensure the effective delivery of the school's primary and secondary curriculums.
">
* In consultation with the Headteacher, undertake other identified areas of responsibility as necessary to ensure effective delivery of the school's curriculum.
">
* To share the school's responsibility to support and promote the learning, personal development and well-being of all students.
">
* Safeguard and promote the welfare of pupils and young people.
">
* Work in accordance with professional practice, statutory and legal requirements and the policies of the School.

Requirements
">
To be successful in this role, you'll need:

* A strong background in teaching students with complex needs, preferably in a special educational setting.
">
* QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
">
* An understanding of the importance of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
