Job Description Role: Security and Quality Administrator Contract: Permanent Location: Melbourn, near Cambridge Hours: Full time. Part time may be possible. This pivotal new role covers two discrete areas: Security and Quality administration. As such, we seek a detail-oriented and highly organised individual, motivated by procedure and improvement, to fill this distinctive dual role. This role will provide essential support to our consultants across two core operational areas of the business and is integral to maintaining high quality standards in the work we deliver to our clients and supporting our security aspects which is paramount to our business. Key criteria: To succeed in this role, you will bring the following skills: Organisation – security and quality activities rely on numerous processes, forms and records that require accurate processing and maintaining. Adaptability – consultant work can be unpredictable with priorities changing on a daily basis to meet our clients’ needs, as such you need to be thoughtful in decision-making, comfortable with change, and be able to remain calm under pressure. Collaborative attitude – you will need to work closely with consultants, business leaders and support staff in a busy and dynamic environment requiring clear and regular communication. Attention-to-detail – multiple, parallel procedures can be complex and need to be carefully followed, audited and adapted. Integrity – you will be trusted to handle highly sensitive information and perform critical tasks. IT competency – our digital records will require managing and maintaining, and new documents may require generating. Prior Experience No prior experience of Quality or Security is required. Practical experience in a range of administrative procedures would be preferred, however this role has potential to provide professional development to the ‘right’ individual. All necessary onboarding and training will be provided. Key Responsibilities: Awerian has a light-touch Quality Management System certified by ISO9001:2015 which requires efficient administration to maintain and adapt with Awerian’s growth plans and dynamic approach to operating. Security is paramount to our business and underpins all that we do, and our certified facilities and the activities taking place within it must adhere to our security policies. Day to day activities related to both quality and security are expected to include: working closely with the business leaders including the Quality Manager and Security Officer, maintaining records and registers, processing forms, conducting audits, updating and creating policies and procedures documents, providing support and training to colleagues. This role is advertised as Full Time; however, we are open to discussing Part Time hours for the right candidate.
