The Multi-Skilled Engineer will provide a wide range of building services engineering maintenance tasks across various client properties in the designated region.
The role offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same, and you will play a key role in ensuring that the client’s buildings remain in optimal condition.

Job Description
The role will involve plumbing, carpentry, and fabric-related repairs, maintenance, and installations to ensure the smooth running of client facilities.
Responsibilities will include taking meter and water readings, identifying issues with Air Handling Units (AHUs), and carrying out basic tasks in plant rooms, such as removing or replacing pumps. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all plant and systems are operating efficiently and identifying any maintenance needs.
This is an interesting and varied site with a focus on maintaining good working relationships with the client.
As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the effective maintenance and operation of the client's facilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Meter readings
* Water readings
* Identify issues with AHUs
* Plant rooms have AHUs, water pumps, basic tasks such as removing a pump
* Responsibility for general PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames
* Responsibility for other building services maintenance tasks including exterior works, plumbing, mechanical, and carpentry
* External ground works maintenance duties
* Provide callout response for the client as detailed on the callout rota
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
* A maintenance engineer with knowledge of plant systems
* No specific qualifications required (plumbing knowledge is advantageous)
* Must live within 30 minutes/6-mile radius of the site (DT4 8UB) for reacting to out-of-hour call outs
* Significant experience in providing plumbing, carpentry, and fabric-related building services maintenance, including fault finding, maintenance, and installation
* Significant previous experience in providing reactive and PPM building services maintenance
* Experience of working within FM or building services in commercial properties
* Experience of working under strict Health & Safety procedures, including risk assessments and method statements
