To support our progress, we are currently recruiting for a Sales Team Leader to come and join our team at our Park House Customer Service office in Newcastle-under-Lyme, ST5 7RZ Job Purpose: To be a leader for our biggest customers, servicing their needs and working closely with the commercial teams. To be a key decision maker, influence pricing, achieve sales targets and maximise sales opportunities. To lead and motivate a team of Sales Coordinators in providing excellent customer. Key Responsibilities: Key account management, improve schedule accuracy and resolve invoice disputes. Be responsible for key account reviews with stakeholders. Review customer profiles to identify opportunities to increase sales. Analyse data including sales trends. Collaborating with the commercial teams to promote stocks and increase sales. Work with the Sales & Operational Planning Team to identify schedule changes in line with production and deliver suitable resolutions. Identify areas of improvement and ensure customer compliance. Continuous performance monitoring, KPI reviews. People management, including performance reviews, absence and other personnel matters. Managing workflow of the teams. Coaching and development of the team to improve knowledge and efficiency of staff. Route cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Support and cover all aspects of the sales coordinator role. Managing schedules, working with transport partners to deliver on time and in full. Order book management. Haulage payment management. About the candidate: PC Literate and numerate, proficient in Microsoft applications, including Office and Excel. Data analysis, using Excel and Cognos. Proven ability to make decisions at management level. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Customer service and continuous improvement experience. Proven ability to lead and motivate people effectively. Demonstrate creativity and adaptability. Flexible and able to work under pressure, use own initiative. Applicants must be willing to travel and stay overnight from time to time. Full driving licence. Desirable - Experience with a sales orientated environment, preferably business to business.
