As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of their central office. From maintaining the office facilities to coordinating deliveries and overseeing health & safety compliance, you will play a crucial role in keeping everything running like clockwork. ๐ข๐ฆโ
Additionally, you will provide support to the Human Resources department, assisting with onboarding/offboarding, recruitment coordination, and employee welfare initiatives. Your efforts will contribute to maintaining a positive and engaging work environment. ๐ค๐
Here's a glimpse of what you'll be doing in this exciting role:
๐ Being the first point of contact for candidates, visitors, and contractors, providing excellent customer service and assistance.
๐ Maintaining and managing the office amenities and facilities, ensuring accessibility for all employees and guests.
๐ Coordinating office-related queries, providing accurate and timely responses.
๐ Building strong relationships with external suppliers and contractors, ensuring the office is well-stocked and maintained.
๐ Assisting with recruitment processes, including job postings and interview scheduling.
๐ Managing employee records, conducting background checks, and ensuring compliance with policies.
๐ Supporting HR initiatives and programmes aimed at improving employee engagement and satisfaction.
To thrive in this role, you'll need excellent organisational skills, a proactive approach, and strong attention to detail. Prior experience in office management and HR coordination will be highly beneficial. ๐ผ๐ฏ
The office is conveniently located just a short walk from Borough train station, and you'll be working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Pay/Salary: ยฃ16ph - ยฃ17ph (perm salary will be ยฃ34,700)
