This post is based around a planned movement scheme with MSK outpatients, Acute Elderly care, Respiratory medicine, Intensive Care, Acute stroke unit, Neuro outpatients and Community rehab team.
The role of the Physiotherapy Service is to provide efficient and effective patient focused care to all service users within primary and secondary care settings. This seamless provision ensures equity of service, patient choice and high standards of personalised care.
This role offers you an opportunity to work within a team offering robust appraisals, preceptorship, clinical and managerial supervision. Continuing professional development is encouraged and we are proud of our varied and interesting in-house training programme which you will be involved in.
Main duties of the job
1. To practice in accordance with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy Rules of Professional Conduct and The Health Professions Council Regulations.
2. To work autonomously with an increasingly complex caseload undertaking assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and providing appropriate advice.
3. Emphasis is placed on the provision of a holistic care package tailored to the individual's needs with the aim of developing maximum function and hence improving quality of life.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* CSP recognised Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy.
* HPC registered.
* Member of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
* Evidence of attendance at relevant post-graduate courses.
Experience
* Completion of core junior rotations (Respiratory/neurological/musculo-skeletal).
* Evidence of Continuing Professional Development/Lifelong Learning Activities.
* Involvement in service development and audit.
Knowledge
* Good Knowledge of Evidence Based Clinical Practice.
* Good Knowledge of Continuing Professional Development/Lifelong Learning.
* Evidence of use of research methodology.
* Ability to communicate effectively.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
* Good organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to organise workload of self and others.
* Ability to motivate self and others.
* Relevant practical physiotherapy skills.
* Able to work flexibly to support wider service, when needed.

Salary
£37,338 to £44,962 a year Per annum pro rata.
