New Business Manager

This is an exciting role that is focused on acquiring new stores into the Bestway Retail symbol family. The variety of propositions available means you have the autonomy to pick the right brand for the right store, retailer, and demographics.
Working in a team that supports innovation and creativity in the implementation of the new business strategy and liaising closely with other Bestway Retail functions to maximise productivity and results generated from all newly recruited accounts.
Your main responsibilities:
1. Develop strong links with external industry contacts to drive activity and support for new business lead generation.
2. Proactively network with existing Bestway Retail operators who have a desire to grow their store numbers.
3. Approach retailers to ascertain acquisition opportunities.
4. Deliver the annual sales target by establishing and securing quality new business leads.
5. Develop positive networking relationships with the wider field-based Bestway Retail colleagues.
6. Work cross-functionally with colleagues and support functions.
About You:
* Strong commercial understanding of the Symbol Group industry.
* Adept at hunting for new business, presenting a proposition, and closing the deal.
* Someone who makes things happen and likes to be accountable.
* Outstanding presenting and influencing skills.
* A confident, driven, and enthusiastic self-starter.
* Ability to build exceptional relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
* Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
Ideal requirements:
* At least 2 years experience in symbol retailing.
* Active network of contacts within the symbol retail arena.
* Proactive mindset and not afraid to use initiative.
* Tenacious, self-starter with a can-do attitude.
