Key Duties and Responsibilities:
As an Account Manager, you will:
1. Build, maintain and grow relationships with existing clients.
2. Understand client requirements and develop ways to meet requirements including pro-actively promoting new ideas to clients.
3. Provide proposals for existing clients & also for potential new clients generated through other sources.
4. Liaise closely with other members of the team.
5. Follow up customer queries and negotiate prices when required with both customers and suppliers.
6. Manage existing accounts as well as working to re-ignite lapsed customers and on-board new accounts.
7. Learn and develop knowledge of existing products.
8. Arrange appointments with clients as and when required.
9. Be driven, enthusiastic, self-motivated and have a pro-active attitude to work.
10. Be a positive ambassador for the business by being both personable and professional.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience within a similar role would be preferable.
2. A proven track record in achieving and exceeding targets.
3. Good organisational skills. The role is fast-paced, and you will be expected to manage your own workload effectively.
4. A fast learner of products and services - and be willing to keep developing and enhancing this knowledge.
5. Driven to achieve and exceed targets.
6. Attentive to detail, with an organised approach to everything you do.
7. A skilled negotiator and calm under pressure.
8. Willing to go the extra mile.
