The Role
* To deliver effective teaching, learning and assessment to learners within Foundation Learning Department.
* Working within Macclesfield College you will join the Cross College and Foundation Learning team, a committed team of practitioners working with Students with Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities (SLDD), Students with Emotional, Behavioral and Social disorders (EBSD) and those learners studying at Entry Level, Level 1 and Level 2 who may need extra support.
* You will be delivering inspiring and engaging learning for students on full time and part time provision for 16 – 18-year old and Adult SLDD Learners.
* The post will involve course management, delivery and assessment on the courses you teach and will include Internal Verification responsibilities.
Main Duties for this role include
* To plan teaching, learning and assessment for college programmes using the appropriate college format to ensure effective learning.
* To deliver teaching and learning to at least a consistently good or outstanding standard to achieve high success rates.
* To assess accurately learners work both formatively and summatively against appropriate awarding body criteria to ensure learners achieve their qualifications.
* To comply with all college quality assurance procedures as prescribed by the Vice Principal - Curriculum & Quality to ensure the achievement of all internal and external audits.
