Brook Street Recruitment is working with our client in Derry/ Londonderry to recruit a new full-time and permanent Customer Service Internal Sales Representative.
The Customer Service Internal Sales Representative is a central point of contact between external customers and the company, responsible for providing first-class sales support to the company Sales Team. This includes ensuring all customer orders and issues are addressed in a timely fashion and liaising between customers and internal departments to ensure efficient coordination of the customer order process using the SAP system.
In this role, you are responsible for:
1. Managing all aspects of order entry, order processing, and order shipment.
2. Communicating with customers regarding issues such as order status, order changes and confirmations, as well as any complaints or questions in a professional and courteous manner.
3. Maintaining customer records to include weekly reporting on order status.
4. Preparation of reports for internal/external sales meetings and customer visits.
5. Preparing and issuing quotes for their portfolio of House Accounts.
6. Identifying and targeting new opportunities within their House Accounts.
7. Logging and responding to Customer scorecards/Performance Metrics.
8. Creating and maintaining customer records in SAP systems, including order preferences, product-specific feedback, address information, billing information, and contact preferences.
9. Working with Buyers and Planners to achieve on-time customer deliveries.
10. Complying with and supporting all Health, Safety & Environmental programs, policies, and procedures.
11. Performing any other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned.
Minimum requirements include:
1. 2 years demonstrable Customer Services experience.
2. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
3. Ability to demonstrate excellent relationship-building skills.
4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally.
5. Excellent IT skills including the use of MS Office & Excel.
6. Experience working within a global company.
7. Previous experience with SAP.
This is a site-based role, 38 hours per week Mon-Fri 08:00 - 17:00 & 08:00-12noon on Friday; there is no flexibility.
