Location/Division Specific Information This role supports Loughborough, United Kingdom on site. Expectations of the Role As a Product Management Specialist, your main responsibilities will include: - Day-to-day management of products and maintaining cross-functional relationships with internal departments such as Sales, Marketing, and R&D/Product Development. - Developing long-range product strategies and guiding fiscal planning for future positioning, growth, and evolution of the product platform. - Meeting revenue, margin, market share, and other performance objectives. - Collaborating closely with internal teams, regional colleagues, and key clients to nurture the portfolio. - Maintaining close interaction with the field organization through training and active participation in the sales process. - Collecting, analyzing, and interpreting market data to assess market desirability and facilitate efficient business growth. - Leading the life cycle of the existing product portfolio. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities To excel in this role, you'll need: - A Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or any field with equivalent experience. - Minimum of 3 years of industry or relevant market experience, preferably in portfolio or supplier management. - Knowledge of the chemical industry, including an understanding of different chemical products and their applications. - Sales, marketing, or other commercial functional knowledge is preferred. - Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Confirmed self-starter with a history of implementing both short- and long-term strategies. - Ability to work successfully in a matrix management structure and develop relationships cross-functionally. - Proficiency in multitasking, organization, and time-management. - Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, including occasional international travel.
