They are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee a college restoration project in Dorset. Key Responsibilities: Overseeing the project from inception to completion, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timelines. Managing the day-to-day operations of the site, ensuring that the project runs smoothly and efficiently. Coordinating and managing subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders. Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site. Managing project budgets, monitoring costs, and ensuring the project is delivered within financial constraints. Reporting on project progress to senior management and stakeholders. Conducting regular site visits and ensuring quality control throughout the project. Resolving any issues or challenges that arise during the course of the project. Ideal Candidate: Proven experience as a Project Manager in a construction environment, ideally within restoration or heritage projects. Strong understanding of building conservation, masonry finishes, and restoration techniques. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate teams. Experience managing project budgets and resources effectively. A solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations in construction. Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Construction Management or a related discipline. Previous experience working with a principal or specialist contractor is highly desirable.
