Teaching Personnel have the opportunity to work with a large SEN school based in Royston. They are looking for a permanent support worker who will be highly involved in personal care, supporting all the young people aged 18-30 with aspects of personal hygiene including toileting, dressing, and maintaining their personal appearance.
Role Details
* Salary: £11.72 - £12.78 per hour (linked to competency and qualifications)
* Annual Salary: £24,375 - £26,582 for a 40-hour week
* Hours: 40 hours per week
* Training: Full training provided. Once passed probation, the school will support and fund studying the Level 3 diploma in Health and Social Care.
Responsibilities
Supporting young adults with personal care, medical needs, and participating in therapies such as rebound therapy or hydrotherapy in the school's renovated pool. The school features sensory gardens, a skills centre, forestry school, and rooms dedicated to art and music.
