Over the last 20 years, this global development platform has been on a mission to power the renewable energy movement. They have expanded their portfolio to a global reach investing in multiple technologies and developing a pipeline of over 50GW.
The business model has gone from strength to strength, covering development stages, managing construction stages, and owning & operating these assets, establishing multiple revenue streams from their pipeline. This currently stands at over 4GW of assets in construction stages, 50GW in development stages, and 1GW in operation. The group works across solar and BESS, across their 35 global offices.

They are looking for their new Head of Grid to take on a key role within the UK team. Youll have a senior and diverse role within the group, with the main focus of the role including:
1. Following and monitoring the grid reforms across the UK, playing a part in these connection reforms.
2. Communicating new updates and regulations to the rest of the development team, working with various stakeholders.
3. Playing a strategic role within the team, looking at long-term strategies for the connections and project developments.
4. Working on grid connection projects, from early-stage origination through project handover and into construction stages.
5. Communicating with ICPs and DNOs and pushing back on connection agreements.
For this role, the ideal profile will have the following skills:
1. Proactive personality, showing initiative. This role will have leadership responsibilities of a Grid Manager, so having these characteristics is essential.
2. Good knowledge and experience in the grid connection space for both delivery and development stages.
3. Stakeholder communication skills to communicate the grid reforms through to the wider development team and other external groups.
