The role Your knowledge of workplace pension market will help us manage the ongoing review and evolution of our solutions for clients, and you will be confident and able to engage directly with senior stakeholders, EBCs, Advisers and Trustees. You will contribute to and often sponsor the design and delivery of new strategic and tactical propositions, using your expert insight, extensive experience, industry, and market knowledge to meet clients’ needs. This will include creating innovative business cases for small and more than often large-scale change, understanding the commercial implications and opportunities, and ensuring propositional and external governance and evaluating the impact of new developments on our workplace flows. While some solutions may be developed in-house, where you will drive implementations in partnership with internal project teams and leadership, you may also work with third parties to harness their expertise and innovation. You will be required to establish and manage a network of internal and external relationships in support of future growth and retention of our workplace business. Your experience, knowledge and understanding of workplace pensions, particularly occupational pensions, will help us manage the ongoing review and evolution of our solutions for clients. Expert knowledge and understanding of the Workplace Pension marketplace and the broader financial services industry, with significant experience on occupational pensions and in particular regulation, our competitors, current and emerging products, and services along with the key trends within the market. Strong communicator, articulate at all levels of detail and able to engage across a wide range of types of stakeholder groups. Proven track record of delivery with experience of creating and developing new concepts, building solutions and then taking them to market. Solve problems for clients whilst balancing commercial opportunity for Standard Life with operational and regulatory risk.
