People are at the heart of the RNLI and this is a new role working within the Performance and Continuous Improvement team to lead the operational delivery, ensuring volunteers and staff receive a first class customer experience across People Shared Services underpinning the Hire to retire lifecycle. This will be achieved by developing a motivated skilled team with a desire to develop and improve overall operational delivery. This is an exciting time to join the People department as this role will be at the forefront of improving the Hire to retire business processes working in collaboration with the implementation of a new HR System. Some of the benefits Salary: £49,492 - £58,226 (dependent on experience) Flexible working 26 days’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays Outstanding pension scheme (contributions of up to 16% of basic salary) Life assurance Health and dental cashplan About The Role As a HR Shared Service Manager at the RNLI, you will be part of the management team which includes Organisational Design, Occupational Health, Recruitment, the HR System project and Performance. You will be responsible for the line management of the People Administration team, responsible for the development and delivery of the People Shared Services model and managing the operational delivery through the transition to self service via a new HR system. This will require streamlining and improvement of transactional processes and leading and motivating the team through this significant change. About You This role is suitable for someone with experience of leading in a multi-disciplinary HR environment delivering front line services to the business. Experience of operational/tactical delivery and HR systems is essential along with an HR qualification of CIPD 7 or equivalent experience. This role requires someone with strong leadership skills to mentor and motivate the team to deliver a first class service to customers with commitment to achieving excellent levels of service. You should have experience of balancing competing priorities with a calm pragmatic approach with an ability to demonstrate experience of collaborating with multiple senior leaders.
