The Mater Christi Trust is a Catholic multi academy Trust with 13 schools, 11 primaries and two secondaries. The Trust was founded in September 2021 with eight schools. In September 2024, the Trust will grow to 16 schools with the addition of three more primaries. The Mater Christi Trust schools are in Cumbria and North Lancashire. We will grow eventually to 35 schools. The Trust’s Central Team supports our schools with five key functions: School Improvement and Development, HR, Governance, Finance and Estates and Premises. The Central Team is supported by an administrator. Under supervision and with relevant training and support the post holder will: Support the Director of Governance in her work in overseeing the work of all the schools’ Local Governing Bodies. Provide effective administration support to the Board of Directors and its committees including setting agendas, minute taking and organising meetings. Support the Directors to meet all their statutory duties. Provide general administrative support to the Trust Central Team. Support to the Board of Directors Ensure that all papers and agendas are ready for meetings and are in the relevant folder. Send out calendar invitations to meetings. Deal with Directors’ enquiries re meetings, logins, and passwords. Take minutes in Directors’ meetings and circulate after the meeting. Provide ongoing support to Board of Directors, to be aware and responsive to their needs to enable them to effectively fulfil their roles. General Administrative Duties Support the Central Team Administrator to manage diaries and team meetings by sending invites and booking accommodation and meeting rooms. Undertake reception duties, providing a professional and welcoming appearance to the Trust office for callers, staff, and visitors. Take responsibility for Trust policies so that they reviewed and approved according to their schedule. This will include formatting policies, alerting policy owners when review dates are imminent and ensuring our policy tracker and website / intranet are up to date. Undertake a range of general administrative duties, including document production, producing action lists and minutes, and maintaining key documents for the Trust Ensure the office has the supplies it needs and ordering equipment when required. · Undertake a range of reprographics duties including, photocopying, laminating, binding etc. Update and maintain the Trusts’ social media channels and post key messages on behalf of the Trust team. Suitable Enhanced DBS check Required Qualifications GCSE Maths and English grade 4 / C or above, Functional Skills Level 2 – or equivalent qualification Working Hours 37 hours per week, Mon – Fri, term time only plus 2 weeks (and holidays).
