Job Description
The Sprinkler Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and layout of fire sprinkler systems for commercial and industrial projects. The role requires a deep understanding of fire protection standards and regulations, as well as proficiency in design. The ideal candidate will work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure designs meet all requirements and are completed on time.\n\nSprinkler Design Engineer Key Responsibilities:\n\nDesign and layout fire sprinkler systems in accordance with British Standards (BS EN 12845) and other relevant regulations.\n\nPrepare detailed design drawings using AutoCAD or similar design software.\n\nCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to understand project requirements and specifications.\n\nPerform site visits to assess project conditions and gather necessary data.\n\nEnsure all designs are compliant\n\nAssist in the preparation of project documentation, including technical specifications and material lists.\n\nSprinkler Design Engineer Qualifications:\n\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in sprinkler system design.\n\nProficient in AutoCAD\n\nExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.\n\nStrong communication and teamwork abilities.\n\nAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.\n\nSprinkler Design Engineer Benefits:\n\n£58,000 - £65,000 basic salary (Dependant on experience and qualficiations)\n\nHybrid working\n\n33 days holiday, pension scheme and performance bonuses\n\nOpportunities for professional development and training.\n\nWe look forward to receiving your application for the Sprinkler Design Engineer position
