1. Support the Community & Events Manager in the planning, promotion, delivery and review of the Hospices annual programme of fundraising events. On the day, lead some Hospice-led events. 2. Develop communications and resources to let supporters know the difference they make and help them maximise their fundraising. 3. Identify and engage with individuals and groups organising their own activities and events and those that take part in third party arranged events to raise money for the Hospice, ensuring they have the information and resources they need to maximise their fundraising. 4. Build strong relationships with individuals and groups fundraising for the Hospice, ensuring that they go on to repeat acts of support in future. 5. Make sure people are thanked quickly and appropriately for supporting the Hospice, personalising communications where possible to reflect supporters connection to our cause. 6. Work with the Hospices internal Communications Team to ensure activities/events receive social media and PR coverage and are planned into the Hospice communications calendar. 7. Respond to enquiries from the public, volunteers, fundraisers etc via phone, email or in person, including responding to requests for information and material. 8. Work collaboratively across the fundraising team to support each other, maximise opportunities and ensure seamless interactions with supporters. 9. Work closely with other departments within the Hospice, securing their support for and attendance at fundraising events.
