Key Account Manager\nLocation: Berkshire\nSalary: £50,000 - £60,000 PA DOE & Bonus\n\nSimon Acres Recruitment is proud to represent a leading company in the KBB industry, seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused and proactive individual to drive new customer acquisition, build relationships with existing housebuilder customers, and manage the sales cycle from tender to handover.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nAccount Development:\n• Build and nurture relationships at all levels within regional head offices.\n• Develop the territory portfolio with new customer acquisition.\n• Work closely with key contacts to create tailored solutions that add value.\n• Drive growth in revenue and margin through proactive selling techniques.\n\nBusiness Planning & Reporting:\n• Produce annual sales forecasts and set territory targets.\n• Develop a comprehensive business plan to support the sales forecast.\n• Create account action plans with clear goals and activity plans.\n• Report on activities and objectives via CRM systems and provide monthly updates.\n\nSales Cycle Management:\n• Own the management of enquiries from start to finish, ensuring timely updates and\noutcome tracking.\n• Provide commercial intelligence on pricing proposals and enquiry outcomes.\n• Coordinate the arrangement of samples and show homes as necessary.\n• Oversee project implementation in line with agreed processes.\n\nOther Responsibilities:\n• Negotiate price increases and manage pricing where applicable.\n• Stay informed of market and competitor trends.\n\nPrevious Experience & Key Skills:\n• Proven success in achieving and exceeding sales targets.\n• Strong sales performance and knowledge of route-to-market strategies.\n• Experience in kitchens, bathrooms, or bedroom design is advantageous.\n• Educated to degree level or equivalent.\n\nKey Skills:\n• Strong networking abilities at all levels.\n• Proven ability in multi-level solution selling.\n• Business acumen and commercial awareness.\n• Skilled negotiator with excellent presentation abilities.\n• High degree of autonomy and ability to work as part of a team.\n\nCandidate Characteristics:\n• Articulate, professional, and results driven.\n• Excellent communicator with strong relationship-building capabilities.\n• Proactive and strategic with a structured approach to work.\n• Collaborative and able to work independently.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Key Account Manager to join a forward-thinking\ncompany.\n\nIf you’re ready to take the next step in your career and bring your expertise to a high\nperforming team, we’d love to hear from you!\n\nHow to Apply:\nFor more information or to apply, please contact Tishana at Simon Acres Recruitment on (phone number removed) or apply directly through our website.
