In the Worcester Neighbourhood Mental Health Team (NMHT) we strive to improve the mental health and wellbeing of our local communities. We have incorporated a huddle into the daily functioning of the team which enables us to be focused on the recovery of the patient through a multidisciplinary approach, with expertise from doctors, nurses, occupational therapists, support workers and psychological therapies staff. Main duties of the job Will work as a key member and resource of the MDT core team. This post will offer a challenging and exciting opportunity to gain experience of working across South Community Mental Health Service, developing relationships with Primary Care, partner agencies and wider mental health services. You will have the opportunity to design and deliver evidence-based recovery focused mental health interventions and groups. Knowledge of delivery psychoeducation within a group environment and 1:1 would be an advantage. You will have experience of working with this user group in community settings. You will have a registered qualification in mental health nursing, occupational therapy or social work. You will hold a blended caseload of common mental health disorders and severe mental illness patients. The ability to work flexibly as the need of the service demands is essential. Attend weekly MDT meetings, participate in professionals meetings, signpost to adjunct services depending on patient need.
