Roles and Responsibilities
In the 12-month
Electrical & Electronic Engineering
Placement, you'll gain invaluable skills and experience in covering all aspects of electrical and electronic engineering, including customer engagement, requirements analysis, supporting with the design of machines and generators for multiple markets, defining a test specification, performing software product configuration and systems/customer acceptance testing, delivering training and consultancy services and getting involved in project work.
You will be guided by structured goals and objectives and will have responsibility to deliver on inspiring projects supported by your People Leader and team around you. We will guide you throughout the year to ensure you make the best of your GE Aerospace experience. Your People Leader will offer coaching and mentoring, and you will be provided with the opportunity to connect with other placement students across the UK.

Qualifications/Requirements
Currently studying or recently achieved a n Electrical/Electronic Engineering related bachelor's or master's degree On course or achieved a 2:1 degree Desired Characteristics
Able to roll up your sleeves and get involved in projects Organised& able to work towards deadlines Inspired and curious to learn Strong verbal and written communication skills Able to take ownership for projects Analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Able to work as part of a team A placement at GE Aerospace is an opportunity to learn while doing. UK Security Clearance (SC) may be required and maintained for some of our placement roles. Due to the nature of work, some of these roles are restricted to candidates who are a British National, or a dual National where one of the dual nationalities is British subject to any restrictions. Candidates who do not meet the minimum requirements for UK Security Clearance will therefore not be eligible for some of our roles on grounds of national security.
