Team Leader Learning Disabilities
York, North Yorkshire
Up to £30,000 per year
Report to: Registered Area Manager
This role would be ideal for someone with experience in health and social care within a supervisory position, preferably within learning disabilities or Autism.
The purpose of the role is to ensure that the assessed care, developmental and support needs are always fully implemented. To develop positive relationships with everyone involved and creating a homely, welcomingenvironment for the people my client supports. Proactively working to help people gain more independence by acquiring daily livingskills, achieving their forecasted outcomes and matching team members expertise to their needs.
Key responsibilities:
Run monthly Support sessions
Conduct monthly team meetings
Providing all staff with the required training
Completing staff rotas
Managing staff annual leave
Completing monthly audits (medical, financial)
Coaching and role modelling
Overseeing development of all staff
Ensuring environments meet my clients high standard
Ensuring the people they support lead active and meaningful lives
Maintain compliance standards to the expected standard
Develop and maintain great relationships with families and professionals
