Key Accountabilities
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader at our depot in Dudley. The main purpose of the job is to:
1. Lead all aspects of a warehouse shift effectively while maintaining Safety, Quality, Service, Cost & Productivity performance to ensure all targets are met.
2. Ensure the highest standards of Safety, Productivity & Discipline are maintained throughout the shift.
3. Ensure the safe & efficient shift-by-shift operation of an operational team.
4. Manage the shift within ASD’s policies & procedures, particularly relating to Health & Safety, training, timekeeping, absence control, discipline & compliance. Refer issues to the Operations Manager promptly.
5. Ensure the shift follows all applicable quality procedures.
6. Monitor shift efficiency and drive performance improvement.
7. Support the Ten Commandments activities, including maintaining housekeeping, 5S standards, TPM sessions, and correct identification of products & storage locations.
8. Ensure customer requirements are satisfied by performing activities correctly & on time.
9. Monitor training needs of the shift and ensure expiry dates are observed.
10. Maintain the highest standards at all times during the shift.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure processes in the area comply with all EHS requirements and monitor performance to improve it.
2. Develop & maintain standards related to activities & products, and monitor performance accordingly.
3. Liaise with supply & customer processes, & Sales to achieve high levels of customer service.
4. Prepare for the following shift to perform at the highest level.
5. Control costs and minimize waste.
6. Achieve and exceed shift targets by resolving issues and coordinating with other shifts & departments.
