About You We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic HCPC registered Podiatrist. The vacancy is full time permanent position Band 6. Main duties of the job The post involves working autonomously with a wide-range of patients focusing on wound care at a specialist level including supporting the High Risk lead provide specialist podiatry intervention at East Surrey Hospital. Direct access to advanced wound care treatments including a range of offloading appliances. The successful applicant will be expected to provide care in both clinical and domiciliary settings taking a pro-active approach in the prevention, assessment and management of wounds involving patients with complex medical needs. The role will involve rotations within nail surgery & podiatry clinic as well as the opportunity to work within the Multi-Disciplinary Diabetic Foot Team clinic when required. You will be guided by comprehensive policies and a supportive team, to assess, diagnose, develop, and implement individual programs of care for patients. Our patients present with a wide range of clinical needs, including acute and chronic neuropathies, chronic diseases, vascular problems and wound management.
