We are looking for a Goods In and Out Operative!

At our Production site based in Isleham, Cambridgeshire, we are looking for a diligent, self-motivated team player who can excel in their duties to help us retain our position as a leading conventional roots supplier in the UK.
You will join us on a full-time permanent contract.
Your main working pattern will be a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 12:00 PM to 00:00 AM.
Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Goods In and Out Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring products are dispatched safely, correctly, and in a timely manner.
The responsibilities of the role include:
1. Communicating with hauliers and internal customers.
2. Unloading and intake of raw material.
3. Ensuring all customer orders are picked with 100% accuracy.
4. Ensuring all vehicles are loaded in full and on time.
5. Entering all required information into Navision with 100% accuracy.
6. Ensuring that correctly dated products are loaded and only rolled back on the agreement of the Planning Team.
7. Reporting any faults on MHE and/or shunter immediately to your Manager and/or Engineering manager/Engineer in your Manager's absence.
8. Reporting all accidents and near misses immediately to your Manager/HSE Manager. This MUST be followed up with a near miss/accident report.
9. Ensuring cleanliness at all times in the loading/finished goods cold store, office, and perimeter.
10. Supporting the production and yard forklift drivers with their duties when required.
11. Assisting in emptying trailers with trays and pallets.
What we are looking for
1. Valid FLT licence (shunter + PPT licence also preferable – training can be provided).
2. Previous experience of working in a production/warehousing environment.
3. An ability to show initiative and work collaboratively with others across the business.
4. Ability to identify different products and pick required amounts toward customer orders.
5. Ability to use a handheld scanner.
