The Opportunity: Workshop Heavy Mechanical Engineer Contract: Permanent Location: Cannock, Staffordshire United Plant Services is an engineering and asset management business, renowned for providing market leading engineering support and fleet management for Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) within the quarry and waste industry. We are part of The Briggs Equipment Group who are a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland. The Impact you will have: Service and maintenance of Heavy Plant Equipment Fault finding, planned preventative maintenance and thorough inspections of equipment Adhering to safety guidelines set and all policies set out by United Plant Maintaining a clean and orderly working area including common areas Completing job cards and ensuring all required parts to complete tasks are ordered What will help you to excel in this role: Relevant technical qualification NVQ level 3 in Plant maintenance or equivalent Previous experience working on Heavy Plant and machinery Experience on Liebherr, CAT, Komatsu, Volvo Good understanding of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical principals The ability to work independently and under pressure The ability to manage and prioritise workload Understanding customer needs Flexible and committed employee What you can expect from us: Negotiable base salary Future development and career opportunities Contributory pension scheme with employer contributions up to 6% Profitshare bonus based on business performance Paycare and eyecare health scheme High street discounts What’s next If you are interested in joining the Briggs Group then please click on the apply now button and a member of the team will be in touch Not sure if this is the right role for you?
