Responsible for driving client satisfaction, identifying new opportunities, and ensuring service excellence, the ideal candidate will act as the primary liaison between the company and its most valuable accounts. Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions. Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring timely responses to queries and concerns. Conduct regular client meetings, site visits, and performance reviews to ensure service quality and client satisfaction. Account Growth and Business Development Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to expand the scope of services provided to existing clients. Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to secure contract renewals and negotiate favorable terms. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to proactively identify growth opportunities. Operational Oversight Liaise with the operations team to ensure the timely delivery of services, meeting agreed-upon KPIs and SLAs. Oversee the resolution of any operational or service delivery issues, working closely with the relevant teams. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company’s services and operational capabilities. Financial and Performance Management Monitor account profitability and ensure accounts meet financial targets. Provide regular reports on account performance, revenue forecasts, and client feedback. Collaborate with finance teams to ensure timely invoicing and resolve any billing issues. Compliance and Reporting Ensure all client activities comply with legal and regulatory standards within the grounds maintenance sector. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, contracts, and service agreements in the company CRM. Key Skills and Competencies Essential Skills Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities. Proven experience in account management, preferably within grounds maintenance or a related industry. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strategic thinking with the ability to identify and seize growth opportunities. Strong negotiation and conflict-resolution skills. Preferred Skills Knowledge of grounds maintenance practices, contracts, and industry standards. Familiarity with CRM software and account management tools. Experience working with public sector and commercial clients. Personal Attributes Proactive and self-motivated with a client-first mindset. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Team-oriented approach with the ability to collaborate across departments. Qualifications and Experience Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in key account management, sales, or a similar role. Proven track record of managing large client accounts and achieving revenue growth.
