Warm, Proactive Nanny Needed for Lovely Family in Twickenham, TW1 Full-Time role, Monday to Thursday Hours: 7.15-6.45 One hour off during the day for a lunch break. Weekly hours - 42 hours per week A lovely family in Twickenham are looking for a nurturing, proactive nanny to join their team and become an extended family member. With two busy working professionals, they need someone they can fully rely on to take the reins and ensure everything runs like clockwork, providing stability and care for their two children (boy, 6, and girl, 7). Your role: You will be stepping into Mum’s shoes while she works, ensuring the household runs smoothly and the children have all the support they need to thrive. From school drop-offs and pick-ups to managing their day-to-day routine, you’ll be their trusted companion—playing, cooking, tidying up, and making sure they feel secure and happy. A cleaner is employed to take care of the heavy cleaning. Duties include: Sole responsibility for all child-related tasks: school liaison, diary management, school uniform fits, children's laundry, bedding changes, tidying after meals, organising book/toys, and maintaining a tidy environment. Light housekeeping (keeping everything organised and tidy and running errand as required) Preparing nutritious meals for the children and handling all shopping for the children. (Simple healthy meals) Buying birthday presents for friends parties and helping organise birthday parties etc. Liaising with the school and keeping on top of their diaries and appointments Ensuring everything is ready for the next day. (school bag/sports, snacks and lunch) Being a supportive, fun presence for the children while promoting their emotional and academic growth. Encouraging independence - getting the children involved with tidying up after themselves Promoting kind and considerate behaviour and good manners. What we’re looking for: A nanny with experience and a passion for childcare, who can confidently manage the household and be a nurturing presence for the children. A long-term commitment—you’ll become an important part of this family’s life. A driver is essential (own car preferred).
