Your New Role As an Electrical Project Manager / Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and delivering electrical projects for renewable energy systems. Your key responsibilities will include: Carrying out High and Low Voltage installation work across various projects when required Managing both planned and reactive maintenance for all sites Providing High and Low Voltage electrical design and plant specifications, collaborating with subcontracted designers for High Voltage design Analyzing site performance and recommending improvements to enhance operational efficiency Identifying, recording, and addressing faults with a proactive, solution-focused approach Completing electrical designs, technical reports, and documentation Monitoring and reviewing all asset-managed renewable energy sites on a scheduled rota, including weekend cover Your Background To be successful in this role, you will need: City and Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) Level 3 Technical and Vocational Qualification or Level 3 Diploma BS7671 18th Edition qualification Experience with High Voltage systems A methodical, accurate, and process-driven approach to tasks Strong communication and organizational skills Proficiency with computer systems and software A valid driving license Flexibility to work across the UK, including evenings and weekends when required A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the renewables industry Desired Skills Experience in PV installation and maintenance, along with onshore wind systems CAD experience Experience with communications set-up and configuration HV Authorised Person / Switch qualification In Return In return for your expertise, you will receive a competitive salary and the opportunity to work on innovative renewable energy projects.
