(£14.45 - £15.20) About the Role: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our welcoming team at a well-established nursery in Newton Abbot. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in creating a stimulating, safe, and nurturing environment for young children, supporting their early learning and development. You will work as part of a friendly, experienced team to ensure that every child receives the highest quality care and education. Key Responsibilities of a Nursery Practitioner: Provide high-quality care and education to children in the nursery, ensuring their individual needs are met. Plan, deliver, and evaluate activities that promote the children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Support children’s social, emotional, and physical development, helping them build confidence and independence. Establish strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and happiness of every child at all times. Help create a fun and stimulating learning environment that fosters creativity and curiosity. Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and contribute to regular progress reviews. Ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and health and safety within the setting. About You: Experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting. A relevant childcare qualification (Level 2, 3) is advantageous but not essential. Passion for working with young children and a commitment to providing the best start in life. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and parents. A positive, patient, and enthusiastic attitude with a genuine desire to support children’s development. An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) Why Join Us?
