You will be working for a construction business in Portsmouth who are looking to increase their headcount through the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant.
Your new role
1. Set up of subcontractors on Sage.
2. Input of invoices/applications through Sage.
3. Ability to spot potential errors/queries during the input process.
4. Set up payless notices for each valuation/invoice received.
5. Certification of invoices and applications.
6. Monthly statement reconciliations.
7. Subcontractor payment preparation and reports.
8. Monthly CIS return.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Full right-to-work in the UK, with prior experience working within a UK finance team.
2. Experience working within the construction industry.
3. Good understanding of the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS).
4. Knowledge of domestic reverse-charge VAT (preferable).
5. MS Office: Excel, Word & Outlook.
