Great Bay Community College is seeking qualified applicants who are interested in adjunct teaching at the College on a course-by-course basis; strong academic background is required. Semester : Spring Semester 2024 Adjunct Faculty: Nursing-Psych/Mental Health Specialty The nursing clinical adjunct faculty instructor shall be responsible for the instruction and supervision of no more than 8 students during clinical learning activities at a cooperating agency in the psych-mental health setting. This position is 2 days a week (15 hours) for 8 weeks (typically Tuesdays/Wednesdays 7a-3p). Days/times may be negotiable depending on instructor/site availability. The timeframe is January 16-March 6, 2024 OR March 19-May 1, 2024. Course: NURS112: Nursing II Adjunct appointments are temporary, for a specified contract period and may require in classroom or online instruction. The compensation rate is $750-$900 per contact hour [or $47.00-$58.30 per clinical rate per hour if applicable]. Compensation will be determined based on the appointed adjunct faculty rank, which is based on education and industry and/or teaching experience The minimum qualifications for the position are as follows: Education: Master�s degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university or baccalaureate degree in Nursing with a Master�s degree in public health, health care administration, health promotion, or another health-related field. Candidates may be considered who are currently matriculated in an MSN program of study, have a baccalaureate degree in Nursing, or work at the clinical site where the experience would be held. Experience: At least two years of recent, relevant nursing experience in psychiatric-mental health nursing. Licensure: Current unencumbered New Hampshire registered nurse license or a current and unencumbered multi-state registered nurse license issued by a compact state.
