Assembly Technician Location : BAE Systems – Hillend, Dunfermline Duration: 12 months Rate : £20.54 PAYE or £27.10 Umbrella Working Arrangements : Full-time, On-Site Role Overview Join BAEs team as an Assembly Technician, where you'll be responsible for manufacturing, repairing, and modifying Radar, Avionics, and Underwater electronic assemblies. You'll work independently and across multiple product ranges, adhering to high industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Assemble and repair complex electronic assemblies. Work with minimal supervision and limited engineering support. Record product history and ensure compliance. Assist in training junior personnel. Requirements: Previously worked as an Assembly Technician or Production Operative. Experience in assembly disciplines such as wiring, PCB, or fitting. Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities. Formal qualifications in Workmanship Standards (e.g., ANSI J, IPC) preferred. Ability to work independently with limited data.
