Location: Office based in Kent, with the requirement to be onsite once a week.
Salary: Up to £90,000 + car allowance + performance-based bonus

As they continue to grow, they are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Business Development to spearhead their expansion efforts and drive their business to the next level.
The Role
This is a unique opportunity to join the senior leadership team and play a key role in driving the strategic growth of the business. Reporting directly to the Sales Director, the Head of Business Development will lead the identification and pursuit of new market opportunities, nurture client relationships, and manage a high-performing team to deliver exceptional results - purely focusing on Business Development.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Growth Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to drive revenue and market share growth.
• Market Expansion: Identify and capitalise on new market opportunities, building a strong pipeline of potential clients and partnerships.
• Client Relationship Management: Establish and nurture long-term relationships with key clients, distributors, and stakeholders.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Operations, to align client needs with the company’s product and service offerings.
• Sustainability Advocacy: Act as a champion for sustainable and eco-friendly packaging solutions in all business dealings.
• Performance Analysis: Track and report on business development activities, ensuring alignment with company objectives and delivering on key KPIs.
What We’re Looking For
• Proven track record of success in a senior business development or sales role, ideally within the food packaging, plastic packaging, FMCG, or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of market trends and challenges in the packaging industry, with a focus on sustainability.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in leading and motivating teams to achieve and exceed targets.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to turn insights into actionable plans.
• Results-driven, with a strong focus on delivering measurable business outcomes.
