Our client who is a leading Lloyds Broker is looking for an Account Handler to join their expanding Commercial department in the Hertfordshire office. The purpose of the role is to service insurance needs of existing clients and ensure their insurance needs are met
Main Duties:
* Handling a portfolio of Commercial Insurance
* Dealing with all enquiries in a professional and efficient manner
* Prepare renewals and new business presentations
* Processing MTAs
* Work closely with Account Directors
* Resolution of customer and insurer queries
* Marketing of risks to insurers
* Develop relationships at all levels
* Prepare and issue insurance documentation
* Process of all necessary documentation
* Prepare and write reports of insurance accounts for management
Essential Skills Required:
* Previous experience within a similar Account Handler/ Executive role
* Strong knowledge across all Commercial Insurance
* Ability to work on own as well as team player
* Strong IT skills
Desirable:
* Good organisation skills
* Achieved or studying towards Cert CII
* Knowledge of Acturis software
