Responsible For: Nurses and Support Workers
Working Hours: 35hrs/week (Days, Nights and Weekends)
Early: 7:15am – 2:30pm
Late: 2:15pm – 9:30pm
Nights: 9:15pm – 7:30am
Salary: £20.25 per hour
Holidays: 33 days annual leave (Annual Leave runs from April 6th to April 5th)
Delphi Care Solutions Ltd is currently supporting an amazing client in the Nottingham NG19 area with recruiting a Mental Health Nurse in a service that provides specialist nurse-led care with a supporting multi-disciplinary team for adults with complex needs arising from enduring mental ill health.
Job Summary:
Clinical: To promote and maintain clinical standards within the home to the satisfaction of the company and relevant statutory bodies.
Resource Management: To utilise all company resources in a manner which achieves customer satisfaction and cost effectiveness.
General Management: To provide complementary, competent, and effective general management support and cover.
Role Requirements:
1. Valid NMC PIN – (Essential)
2. Bachelor’s degree in nursing – Mental Health / Learning Disabilities – (Essential)
3. Minimum 1-2 years’ work experience in mental health nursing/learning disabilities with relevant group of Service Users – learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviour adults (Essential)
4. Good communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills.
5. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills for problem solving.
6. Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
7. Compassionate and empathetic approach to service users’ care.
8. Experience in managing service users’ acute episodes.
9. Good knowledge of capacity assessments and DOL’s.
10. Good knowledge about autism and LD.
11. Good restraint trained/knowledge – understanding of restraint reduction network.
12. Good knowledge about communication programmes for adults with learning or communication difficulties.
13. Advanced knowledge about medication policies and procedures, related medication electronic systems, and regulations.
14. Experience in writing and updating care plans and risk assessments.
