We're currently looking for a Senior Finance Manager to support our finance function for our Virgin Media O2 contract in Wellingborough. Reporting to the Finance Business Partner, you and your team of three will deliver "best in class" clear, credible reporting on well understood results to both GXO and the customer.

This is a permanent, full-time role where you'll be predominately working Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00, however, some flexibility is required.

What you'll do on a typical day:
* Support and oversee the production of weekly & period reporting, forecasting and budgeting exercises, customer reporting including weekly and monthly reviews, and articulate results
* Use the financial data to shape and influence operational direction with key stakeholders both internally and externally, working closely with Operational Director to support the leadership of the site and overall performance of the contract
* Work closely with the site team to drive GXO Op Margin through generating savings and increasing operational performance and embracing a culture of continuous improvement
* Support the Contract Team and Business Unit Financial Controller in any ad-hoc work and identifying new opportunities to support growth
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Ideally fully qualified CIMA, ACCA or equivalent or actively studying
* Previous experience of working within a fast-paced environment with tight time constraints, preferably within logistics
* Advanced Excel Spreadsheet skills (essential), including the ability to use formulas to a good standard and knowledge of SAP/ Lucanet / Blackline is highly desirable
* Accuracy driven, with high attention to detail
* Proven track record in successfully establishing and maintaining effective business relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
