House Manager
Dryden Court, Gateshead.
Salary: £13,484.18 per annum.
Hours: 20 per week, Monday to Friday.
Contract: Permanent
Closing Date: 5pm 1st May 2025
The role of a House Manager will involve effectively and professionally managing the day to day running of an independent living development for the over 60’s

About the House Manager Role:
* Ensuring the building remains safe and secure
* Ensuring the building provides a well-maintained environment for residents.
* Carrying out and recording daily health and safety checks, ad-hoc cleaning, checking bin stores and providing access for waste collection.
* Performing weekly fire alarm tests.
Your Experience:
Successful candidates will need:
Essential:
* A good standard of general education
* Experience of working with the public
* Ability to recognise diverse customers’ needs and to communicate with customers orally and in writing, effectively.
* General knowledge of maintained services in communal buildings.
Desirable:
* A current First Aid Certificate
* Computer skills for communication.
* Experience of liaising with contractors and service providers
* An ability to see the wider picture and contribute across disciplines.
