We are seeking a compassionate and dynamic Rough Sleeper Outreach Team Manager (PO2) to lead our dedicated team in providing vital support to individuals experiencing homelessness. Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Rough Sleeper Outreach Team, overseeing daily activities and ensuring effective service delivery.
Develop and implement outreach strategies to identify and engage with rough sleepers in the community.
Collaborate with local agencies, service providers, and volunteers to build effective partnerships for resource sharing and support.
Conduct assessments of rough sleepers' needs and coordinate services that address their immediate and long-term requirements.
Monitor and evaluate the progress of outreach initiatives, reporting on outcomes and making recommendations for improvements.
Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to enhance their skills and ensure high-quality service delivery.
Maintain accurate records and documentation of outreach activities, client interactions, and service referrals.
Requirements
Proven experience in managing outreach programs or similar initiatives, preferably in a social care or homelessness context.
Strong understanding of the challenges faced by rough sleepers and the services available to support them.
Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills to inspire and guide a diverse team.
Ability to develop and implement effective outreach strategies based on best practices and community needs.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with team members, stakeholders, and the community.
Experience in data analysis and outcome measurement to assess the effectiveness of outreach efforts.
A degree or relevant qualification in social work, community development, or a related field is preferred.
