This role will involve the accurate planning and programming of our large multimillion-pound precast concrete contracts through a critical path process. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role to ensure the successful delivery of each contract through accurate programming and strong record-keeping across design, procurement, production, and construction. Working in conjunction with the Project Manager and Quantity Surveyors, key duties will include: The development and maintenance of detailed critical path analysis for Contracts programmes, with accurate records on Target vs Actual and associated variances The management of on-site programme updates to include programme controls, projects costs and risk analysis Advising the project team of critical changes to priorities alongside required adjustments to maintain targets. Assisting the QS in the preparation of claim information in the event of delays and variations Assisting the estimating team on the preparation of programmes within the tender documents and resource allocation. Criteria: Applicants must have previous construction planning experience on JCT and NEC contracts. A strong working knowledge of understanding critical path analysis. Sound software knowledge to include Microsoft Office & Projects, Primavera and ASTA Power Project. Strong written and verbal reporting skills, highly organised and demonstrate a positive business acumen
