The Role As a Principal Psychologist, responsibilities include: Providing high-quality psychological treatment and support to inpatients and outpatients. Facilitating group therapy interventions. Working within CQC, QNIC, and other regulatory standards to ensure outstanding patient care. Regularly reviewing and monitoring treatment outcomes using goal-based assessment methods. Contributing to service development, including implementing resident feedback and delivering in-house training. Developing care pathways and treatment protocols. Providing specialist supervision, training, and consultation to colleagues through formulation groups and reflective practice. Candidate Requirements Registered with the HCPC as a Practitioner Psychologist. Experience in delivering psychological interventions in a clinical setting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients and multi-disciplinary teams. A commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development.
