Job Description
Abbatt Dual Management are recruiting a People Advisor to join the HR team. The role will involve advising on and managing employee relations issues such as disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, absence management etc.
We are ideally looking for someone who has experience managing restructures and redundancies, and can confidently communicate with colleagues, employees and clients. This role will be both leading on and advising on HR matters, so we are looking for someone who is just as happy working autonomously as being part of a team. We are particularly interested in talking to candidates who have experience of managing their own cases including conducting meetings and making decisions on complex HR cases, but we will also consider candidates with strong HR administration experience who are looking to make the next step in their career and who have the confidence to do so.
The role is based in the Abbatt offices on High Holborn (closest tube Chancery Lane) but will require the role holder to travel to sites across London to conduct meetings/consultations (travelling on public transport). We would ideally like someone who can start immediately or on a short notice period, but are also happy to wait for the right candidate.
Abbatt Dual Management is an outsourced employment solution for on-site staff working in the residential property sector across London and occasionally further afield. We currently employ over 330 staff working across 120 sites, and are growing all the time.

* First point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
* Deliver training to new and existing candidates
* Conduct Risk Assessments and manage H&S issues
* Keep abreast of changes to legislation regarding workplace Health and Safety and HR
* Ad hoc HR tasks and projects
The ideal candidate:
* Extensive knowledge of employment law – relevant qualification useful but not essential
* Experience conducting in-person HR meetings with employees
* Commercial approach
* Strong communication skills
* Excellent attention to detail
Company benefits:
* 25 days annual leave + bank holidays (33 days)
* Monthly team and company social events
* Private medical insurance, season ticket loan
* 50% Gym membership contribution
* Employee Assistance Program
* Flexible working hours
