About the Company This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Specialist Occupational Therapist to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, providing occupational therapy within the Neurobehavioral model for individuals with acquired brain injury (ABI). To work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, providing occupational therapy input to service users with ABI, leading the OT provision within the service, and liaising with both internal and external professionals, as well as family members and service users.
Manage a caseload of service users with complex mental/physical health needs and/or challenging behaviour.
Perform detailed risk assessments and keep these regularly updated.
Support and supervise junior colleagues and other healthcare professionals as required.
A diploma or degree in occupational therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
Expertise in neurological rehabilitation and the ability to work autonomously.
Excellent communication skills, including report writing and formulation of complex risk assessments.
