Are you passionate about physical education and helping students achieve their potential? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time PE Teacher to join our dynamic team at a thriving school in Leyland. The successful candidate will be able to evidence a track record of achieving good or outstanding results, as well as being able to demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for the subject and the ability to engage, motivate and inspire students of all abilities. The right candidate should have a commitment to raising achievement, raising aspirations and going the extra mile.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Plan and deliver engaging physical education lessons to students of various ages and abilities.
2. Foster a positive and active learning environment.
3. Encourage teamwork, discipline, and healthy lifestyle habits.
4. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
5. Participate in extracurricular activities, including sports clubs and school competitions.
Requirements:
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
2. Passion for PE and promoting physical activity among young people
3. Strong communication and organizational skills
4. Ability to inspire and motivate students
5. Previous experience in teaching PE is desirable but not essential
