BDCT is establishing a new Programme Management Office (PMO) team, which will focus on delivering programmes of work that will bring sustainable change to the organisation. There are some great opportunities to get involved in this work and ensure that our resources and support services are working and focusing on the right projects. The newly formed team will establish the right governance and work consistently to make positive changes during challenging times to deliver the best care for our patients. If you are keen to make lasting changes, and oversee the lifecycle of major projects within the sustainability and transformation programme, then please get in touch.
The role will be responsible for driving forward projects identified primarily from sustainability focussed areas of work reporting into identified delivery groups and the programme board. The role includes the development of Project initiation Documentation, set up of governance and benefits realisation including development and delivery of mobilisation plans. It is a role that requires good engagement with staff and involvement partners aligned with Trust transformational change.
Project management methodology will be used to support successful project and programme implementation. The projects are expected to utilise Care Trust Way improvement methodologies to support clinicians and managers in service redesign projects.
The postholder will work with a matrix management approach to enable collaboration in delivery of projects with allocated resources and colleagues in: Business Support; HR and Organisational Development; Finance, Digital and Estates. The co-ordinator will produce regular performance monitoring reports to ensure overall goals are achieved and that governance is maintained.
We are looking for dynamic individuals that are passionate about delivering improvements and change, to come and join us from their current role, ideally with some experience of delivering change and projects/programmes. These are ideal opportunities for the right candidates to take a step out of their existing role and lead or support project and programme work which will bring benefits to our organisation and place as well as strengthening their own personal development. The projects and programmes will vary from delivering pathway design, workforce changes or digital developments.
For an informal discussion please contact an interim Programme Director Phil Dunn at Philip.dunn@bdct.nhs.uk or Jo Gott at joanne.gott@bdct.nhs.uk who is heading up the team. This is an exciting time for you to get involved in transformation work taking place across the Trust.
