We now have an opportunity for a talented individual to join our team as a Network Compliance Manager.
As the UK's largest independent parcel network, The APC is committed to delivering service excellence. The Network Compliance team plays a crucial role in achieving this by working closely with APC depots and head office functions to enhance service standards and operational efficiency.
About the Role
In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our programme to deliver service excellence, ensuring depots have the tools, knowledge, and best practices needed to drive continuous improvement. A key focus will be on developing and implementing KPI-driven strategies that enhance compliance, efficiency, and overall service performance.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
1. Excellence Programme: Supporting depots in implementing and maintaining best practices to drive service excellence.
2. Content & Development: Creating, maintaining, and publishing key operational material in different formats for the online environment, ensuring depots have access to up-to-date reference material and guidance.
3. Compliance & Performance Management: Conducting depot visits and KPI analysis to identify areas for improvement, undertake root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
4. Network Development: Working with Depot Principals to drive service excellence and ensure APC policies, processes, and procedures are fully understood and embedded.
5. Collaboration & Best Practice Sharing: Identifying, developing, and sharing best practices across the network to support standardisation and continuous improvement.
6. Depot Support & Issue Resolution: Assisting in the resolution of disputes and supporting depot recovery operations when required.
Who We're Looking For
This role requires a proactive individual with a strong operational mindset, excellent people management skills, and the ability to interpret and act on data insights. The ideal candidate will have experience in operational management, network compliance, or a similar role within the logistics or parcel delivery sector.
You should be:
1. Analytical - Able to interpret KPIs and identify trends to drive performance improvements.
2. Organised & Detail-Oriented - Capable of managing multiple projects and ensuring compliance with APC standards.
3. An Effective Communicator - Skilled in engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
4. Flexible & Field-Based - Willing to travel regionally and nationally to support depots as needed, including frequent overnight stays during the week.
Flexibility is essential and the successful candidate will also have excellent people management skills alongside strong administration, communication, planning, and organising attributes. Previous industry experience is desirable, preferably within an operations environment, change management, or continuous improvement background.
