Key duties of the Senior Electrical Design Engineer:
Develop and deliver electrical and electronic system designs for buildings and infrastructure as part of a multidisciplinary design team.
Understand BS 7671, IEC standards, and electrical safety regulations in mission critical environments.
Proficient with Dialux and/or Relux software.
Proficient with Trimble/Amtech and/or ElectricalOM software.
Required: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, building services engineers or equivalent.
Chartership or actively working towards it.
Support and mentor junior engineers.
Good understanding RIBA/BSRIA design and construction stages.
Work on design&build projects, collaborating with contractors to ensure efficient project delivery.
Work on sustainable electrical design, including energy efficiency, renewable integration and low-carbon strategies for data centres and infrastructure.
Work on the design and construction of data centres, mission critical facilities, infrastructure projects and large scale industrial facilities.
On offer for the Senior Electrical Design Engineer as well as a salary of up to £60k:
9-day Fortnight (one extra day off every other week, no extra hours required and no change to salary).
