Job description We are currently seeking a Technical Demonstrator in Creative Computing to assist in the provision and demonstration of specialist technical and practical equipment, processes and techniques in support of academic and commercial programmes across the university, whilst supporting the broader and deeper utilisation of facilities and cross disciplinary working. About the role As a Technical Demonstrator in Creative Computing, you will support tutors and students in teaching, workshops, and production activities both on and off-campus. This role involves assisting with curriculum development, delivering technical workshops, managing specialist equipment and materials, and ensuring health and safety compliance. You will maintain accurate records, oversee inventories, and contribute to equipment upgrades while supporting learning sessions and supervising students. About you You will be an experienced Technical Specialist in Games Development with expertise in the Unity Game Engine and C# scripting. You will hold a relevant qualification, have significant practical experience in a commercial or educational setting, and possess the ability to quickly adapt to new software. Strong organisational skills, teamwork, and knowledge of health and safety procedures are essential, alongside the capability to maintain specialist computing equipment. You will also be flexible, reliable, and passionate about supporting innovative learning and development in this field. The arrangement of working hours will be agreed in advance with the line manager. £33,232 to £36,924. Grade 6, per annum
